AN ASPIRING Coventry-born model was working as a prostitute in a massage parlour when she met her future husband who is accused of murdering her, a court was told.
The body of Kirsty Grabham, 24, who lived in Hillfields and Foleshill, was found dumped in a suitcase last April after moving to Wales.
Her husband, Paul Grabham, 25, of Swansea, who denies killing her, married Kirsty within three months of meeting her in autumn 2007.
Day one of the trial heard both of them had been working as prostitutes in Swansea and had a “stormy” relationship.
The couple were at “loggerheads” with each other from the beginning, Greg Taylor QC, prosecuting, told the jury as a four-week trial opened at Swansea Crown Court.
