The Tooth youth club faces closure over cash crisis

A POPULAR youth club in Willenhall is facing closure unless vital funding is found - and fast!

The Tooth, given its name because it is an old dentists’ surgery, has previously relied on money from the council and a three-year grant from the Big Lottery to keep it running.

But from March all that ends, which means the centre in Stretton Avenue, Willenhall, could be forced to close if another investor is not found.

Mick Breeze, senior youth worker at the centre, is hoping they can find some more funding by next month.

He said: “We are hoping there is a chance that someone will come and save this place but unfortunately money is not easy to get.

“The Tooth is one of the key provisions in the area and the young people come here in their droves.
