COUNCILLOR Jim O’Boyle breathlessly informs us of how the wicked Tories are opposing neighbourhood schemes, suggesting that this will affect the most vulnerable in society.
Surely he is aware that Unison has this month launched a campaign to oppose the countrywide process of library closures, de-skilling of staff, cuts in funding and creeping privatisation?
All this is happening today, under a LABOUR government, and merely highlights the hot air which is regularly spouted by the likes of Cllr O’Boyle to deflect attention away from 11 years of endless, worthless promises. More and more people are now realising that Labour are no more the people’s friend than the Conservatives.
