THE frustrations of this season continue with another disappointing result against Burnley last weekend; but the team have a fantastic opportunity to progress to the 5th round of the FA Cup when they play Millwall at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.
With many supporters disappointed and disillusioned with the football they have witnessed this season and both Clubs struggling in their respective leagues, the ticket prices should have been used to entice people to come and watch the game and show their support.
The Sky Blue Trust have already shown their regret that an opportunity has been missed by the Club to try and recreate the atmosphere witnessed against West Ham United in the Carling Cup by lowering ticket prices.
However for those supporters who have paid their money to go to the game I hope the team put in a performance and show Millwall the respect they deserve.
Not many people believed that City could beat Blackburn at Ewood Park and yet the team demolished them 4-1. For me the magic of the FA Cup is slowly returning and I think we have seen that the Championship can compete with Premiership.
The style of football played lower down the football pyramid may be a lot more rough and ready than the free flowing; passing game we witness the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United playing and the finances available in the different leagues varies enormously but there have already been many shocks in the third round of the FA Cup but hopefully we will not be one of them in this round.
The Sky Blue Trust are meeting with Ray Ranson in February if any supporter has any concerns, queries or views they would like the Trust to ask on their behalf please contact the Trust on 07746143105, info@skybluetrust.co.uk or PO Box 3336, Coventry, CV2 5YS.
