Saturday, in the first round Steve
beat Paul Gudgeon 6-1, second round Steve Hine 6-5, third round Mark
Dudbridge 6-3, fourth round Alan Tabern 6-5, before finally losing to
Jamie Caven in the quarters 6-5. Mark Walsh beat Caven 6-4 in the final.
On Sunday, in the first round Steve
beat Rick Lowther 6-1, second round Arron Monk 6-1, third round Peter
Wright 6-1, fourth round Toon Greebe 6-2. He lost again in the quarters
to Gary Anderson 6-2. Colin Osborne beat Anderson 6-2 in the final.
Steve will be back on the oche in Germany this weekend for two more Players Championships.
