THE 15th Annual Graded Squash Championships, took place at the Coventry and North Warwickshire Squash Club last weekend.
The annual competition, which is
open to players who live or work within the Coventry area, was a
smashing success, attracting players from squash clubs in Nuneaton,
Coventry, Kenilworth, Leamington, Warwick, and Stratford.
Mo
Sarwar, professional squash player and organiser of the competition,
said: “We are really pleased with the success of this weekend’s event
and we are extremely grateful to the Subway chain for supporting us
with this great local venture. It is an excellent way to encourage
healthy competition amongst local squash clubs and enhance players’
performance within the county.
Squash is a challenging yet fun sport, and we are always looking at initiatives to raise awareness of the game and encourage fresh, new talent to the sport.”
Designed to improve the performance of local squash players, the event was open to competitors of all abilities.
