Alcester gets rocking to Ricky Cool and the Hoola Boola Boys

Alcester looks set to rock this Friday (March 20) at 8.30pm when Ricky Cool andthe Hoola Boola Boys hit the Cuckoo Club at the Greig Centre!

Thevibrant six-piece Midlands act provides the very best in Rock nRoll and Rhythm n Blues music and has been regularlyentertaining audiences in pubs and clubs around the region for overfifteen years.

Thelively line-up features saxophone, guitar, bass and drums as well asthe special sound of the Hammond organ - so get those dancing shoesready and be prepared to boogie!

RickyCool has long been known as one of the best front men in the businessand together with The Hoola Boola Boys (who have backed some of thebest names in the R n B circuit) is guaranteed to provide atoe-tapping night to remember.

The Cuckoo Club transforms the GreigCentre into a very special musical night-out and has been the venuefor some of the finest Midlands musical entertainment since it wasfirst conceived in October 2005. Since then it has steadily grown inboth variety and reputation providing a wide variety of musicalexperiences from swing to traditional jazz and folk rock to modern.

Foreach of the concerts the Greig is transformed into an atmosphericcandle-lit nightclub with waiter service on hand to serve drinks toyour table from a selected wine list and licensed bar.

Aswell as providing a venue for good quality music in a cabaretsetting, the Cuckoo Club generates much needs funds to support theGreig Centre, Alcesters main community centre which is run by anindependent charity and provides facilities for sport, recreation andthe arts.
