LEAMINGTON Food and Drink Festival is back and will be bringing its culinary activities to The Royal Pump Room Gardens on August 30 and 31.
The event will see live cookery demonstrations, sample tasting, coffee tasting, cocktail shaking, wine tasting and a farmers market taking place between 10am-6pm.
Asian, European, Oriental and organic dishes will be served up to a backdrop of live salsa and jazz music and an Italian market will be hosted in the Regent Court Shopping Centre.
Hungry festival-goers will also be able to take part in a new ‘Taste Trail’ and sample speciality dishes from Leamington’s culinary hot-spots including The Newbold Brasserie, Strada, Nicolinis and The Leamington Bar and Grill. Everyone taking part will be entered into a prize draw to win dinner for two at the winning restaurant.
Helen Smith, executive director of organisers Business Improvement District, Leamington, said: “The festival is expected to attract thousands of visitors.”
