DAVID LAWRENCE sent in these pictures in the hope of getting some answers.....
The photos have been passed on to him following the death of his father Phillip who used to live in the Wyken area.
The first (above) shows a Wyken team picture from what is believed to be 1923 and David knows a relative of his is on the picture somewhere, but he is not sure where.
The second picture is believed to be a works team from 1937-38, when his dad was in his late 20s and worked in the chassis department of the bus works.
His dad is pictured second from right on the back row.
And on the third picture his father is fourth from left on the back row, but the team is not known.
David said: "I don't know what teams my dad played in or any of the details and I hope people can fill in the information.
"Hopefully they will jog people's memories and I will be able to find out about them."
