Young rugger hopefuls of the 1920s

 THIS picture of the Coventry Boys' Rugby team of 1920-21 was sent in by Craig Pringle, of Birchfield Road, Coundon. Craig's great grandfather Fred Naul is pictured and that is how he came by the picture. He wonders if it stirs memories of family for any other readers. The teachers are (from left) Mr Turland, Mr Walker, Mr Johnson (head of Red Lane), Mr Posens and Mr Sudden. The boy between Messrs Posens and Sudden is Wheatley, with Bratby to Mr Turland's left; Hayward to Mr Johnson's right and Pitcher to Mr Posens' right. Second frow from the front (from left) is: ?, Bowkett, Lole, Dewis, Mitchell. Front row (from left): Naul, Pearce, Hall, Adams.
