CHARTERED accountants and business advisers Burgis & Bullock is celebrating as an increasing number of its team achieves the AAT accounting qualification.
The successful candidates were Gemma Morris and Laura Parkes, based at the firm’s Nuneaton office, and Sharan Athwal from the Leamington Spa office.
Gemma, 24, joined the firm in September 2005 and she currently prepares limited company accounts for a wide range of the firm’s client base, whereas Laura Parkes, 19, joined the leading firm of accountants in April 2007 and prepares sole trader and limited accounts for a varied client portfolio.
In addition, Sharan Athwal, 22, joined the firm’s Leamington Spa office in May 2008 and she also prepares sole trader and limited accounts for a number of key clients across the firm.
Gemma said: “Laura and I are delighted to have obtained such a prestigious qualification that is widely recognised and valued within the accountancy profession. "This will help us to further enhance the help and advice that we can give to clients as well as being a great boost to our career development."
