THE COVENTRY and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of a new marketing officer.
Katie Yurman, from Leamington, has joined the Binley-based business specialists from her previous role as a secretary.
The 24-year-old former University of Warwick student will now be charged with assisting in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities as well as supporting the chambers head of marketing, Sally Glarvey.
Katie, who began her new role at the start of June, said she was looking forward to a long and successful spell with the organisation.
Ive only been here a few weeks but I am really enjoying it, she said. My colleagues are lovely and I feel like I will definitely settle here.
Im particularly enjoying the writing side of the job and Im learning more every day about what the chamber does and how it benefits the community.
Sally Glarvey, from the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber, said she was delighted to have Katie on board.
Katie seems to have fitted in really well and were thrilled that she has joined our hard-working team here at Oak Tree Court.
We are certain she will quickly become a valuable member of the organisation and help us to do what we do best supporting and developing local businesses.
