Graham Aylott has joined the Chamber as its new policy officer and will be carrying out research with member companies to find out the issues affecting their business.
The results of those polls will help frame the Chamber’s policy on a variety of issues both at local and national levels.
Graham joins after nine years with Coventry City Council where he worked in a variety of roles.
That including undertaking a great deal of research and strategy work, much of which was carried out with the private sector.
He said: “I am looking forward to the new challenge.
“The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber is at the heart of business in this region at what is an important time for everyone.
“We will be working hard with businesses here and our colleagues at the British Chambers of Commerce to ensure that the right message is delivered to key decision makers locally, regionally and nationally.”
Graham will also attend branch meetings at the Chamber’s Coventry, mid-Warwickshire, north Warwickshire, south Warwickshire and Rugby committees.
