AN EXPRESS delivery giant based in Atherstone has earned two honours at an international awards ceremony.
TNT Express UK picked up two trophies at the annual IFW Freighting Industry Awards, dubbed the 'Oscars' of the international transport industry.
The firm won the title of Express Operator of the Year, which was shared with DHL and voted for by customers, and an award for customer care.
Stuart Stobie, divisional managing director, TNT Express UK, said: "We have won many honours in the past but this is the first time we have won two awards that are so clearly linked to our customers.
"It's a powerful testimony to our clear commitment to continually develop and improve everything we do at TNT, and our customers can clearly see we're doing things the right way.
"To win Express Operator of the Year tops it all off as there wasn't an expert or judge involved with this category - it was imply our customers telling us they think we've done a great job."
