Run of good form for Nuneaton RFC comes to a sudden stop

Nuneaton 9 Hull 27
NUNEATON’S recent good form in National Two North came to a halt as they ran into a resilient Hull side at Liberty Way.
The Nuns went down on a blustery day despite dominating the match for long periods. However, they were caught on the break by clinical play several times.
Hull’s director of rugby Tevita Vaikona was a constant thorn in the Nuns’ side. Twice in the first half, Vaikona made breaks that relieved Nuns’ pressure and twice he earned penalties which James Cameron converted.
In between those scores, winger Alex Piercy went over for Hull, who lead by 11-0 at the break.
Two Jack Jolly penalties early in the second half raised Nuns’ hopes before Cameron restored the gap with a drop goal and a penalty.
