Family entertainment at Drayton Manor this weekend

FAMILY entertainment can be found at Drayton Manor Theme Park this Bank Holiday weekend.
Visitors to the award-winning attraction, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, will be among the first to see the new attraction, Percy, at the s5 million Thomas Land, which opened earlier this year.
Percy will join Thomas the Tank Engine in taking visitors from the main Thomas Land area, to Tidmouth Hault Station which is located near to Drayton Manor zoo.
Since its opening in March, Thomas Land has proven to be a hugely popular attraction, with its 12 themed rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, cafs and shops.
The zoo has a new addition too - a baby Lima, to join more than 100 species of animals from around the world, including big cats, reptiles and birds of prey.
For the bigger kids, there is the G-Force rollercoaster and Maelstrom, as well as the stand-up rollercoaster Shockwave, and the splash that is Stormforce 10.
The park will be open until 7pm over the Bank Holiday period so that visitors can make the most of their day out.
