AFTER a four year absence the Classic Car and Transport Show returns to Arbury Hall this Sunday.
The event will feature more than 450 vehicles dating back to the 1920s competing for the 15 concours awards.
Among the earliest vehicles are a 1920 Humber and 1928 Ford T which will be lining up with marques like Austin, Rover, MG, Hillman and Morris from the 30s. Lea Francis, Daimler, Lagonda, Jaguar, Triumph and Riley are among those from the 50s.
Classics of the 60s include Vauxhall Cresta, Morris Minor, Triumph Herald and Ford Zodiac. Sports cars are well represented from the same decade with Austin Healeys and Jaguars alongside MG Midgets to the later Triumph Stags and Spitfire. There will also be 15 trade stands.
Also on display will be 22 American cars, custom and kit cars plus motorcycles, commercials and military vehicles.
The Nuneaton based Piston Ring Youth Motorcycle Display Team will be performing in the main arena at 1pm and 3pm. Other attractions include a children’s castle and quadbikes plus an autojumble.
Gates open from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Admission is £5 adults and children £2 with free car parking.
The gardens of Arbury will be open from noon to 3pm at an additional cost.
