New Nuneaton business park to bring jobs bonanza

Feb 11 2008

A NEW £2 million business park in Nuneaton could create about 100 jobs in the town.

Shepperton Business Park will house a new development of industrial and warehouse buildings in Triton Road, off Caldwell Road.

Work will start on the development in April and the site could be ready by the autumn.

The park is being created by the Leicester-based Shepperton Partnership and will include nine buildings ranging from 2,260 sq ft to 3,735 sq ft.

John Pugh, commercial partner of Loveitts, said the new business park would contribute towards Nuneaton's expanding economy.

He said: "There is an expanding economy here and this development means businesses can stay in the area or relocate here by making a long-term investment.

"More and more small and expanding companies are looking to buy their properties rather than rent, and that can be the deciding factor in where they locate so it is vital there is a pipeline to support the local economy.

"Shepperton is prepared to offer the freehold, after a qualifying leasing period, or to lease the properties if that suits occupiers more.

"Shepperton Business Park will create many more jobs and it's in an ideal location near the M6 and A444."
